Laparoscopy, sometimes called diagnostic laparoscopy, is a surgical procedure that examines the organs inside the belly. It's a low-risk, minimally invasive technique that just necessitates a few minor cuts. A laparoscope is used to examine the abdominal organs during laparoscopy.
A laparoscope is a medically constructed telescope. It has a high-intensity light and a high-resolution monitor attached to it. A hollow tube is inserted through your abdominal wall, and the laparoscope is inserted into the port, allowing the surgeon to see within your abdomen. On the display, you'll see a view of the inside of your abdomen. This technique (surgery) will, in most situations, be able to diagnose or assist in the discovery of the abdominal condition.
